Our goal is to provide our patients with a positive experience full of exceptional care and attention every step of the way. If you are new to our practice, we have outlined what you can expect during your first visit below.
Before Your First Visit
Once your initial consultation appointment has been scheduled for either our Wayne or Oak Ridge offices, we will forward you a few required registration forms. To save you time, we send these documents to you ahead of time. However, if you don’t have a chance to complete them before you arrive, don’t worry; you can complete them when you arrive. Please make plans to arrive approximately 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment with your dental health insurance information in hand. Before you are seen by Dr. Rosenberg or Dr. Nicole Czajka, a member of the Smile Experience Orthodontics team will need to review your forms and check the orthodontic benefits associated with your current dental plan. Then, you will be all set and ready to begin your treatment journey with us!
During Your First Visit
We plan to welcome you properly during your first visit to our Smile Experience Orthodontics office, so please reserve approximately an hour of your time for us. Your visit will start with a tour of our office and an introduction to the team members who will assist you during your treatment journey. We want to make sure to make you feel comfortable and confident about the quality care you will receive!
Your initial assessment will occur in one of our consultation rooms, where a Smile Experience Orthodontics team member will collect digital information for Dr. Rosenberg or Dr. Nicole Czajka to complete their comprehensive analysis of your unique dental characteristics. Reviewing these photographs, X-rays, and digital scans of your mouth will allow Dr. Rosenberg or Dr. Nicole Czajka to create your personalized treatment plan.
After reviewing all your digital documents, Dr. Rosenberg or Dr. Nicole Czajka will join you to perform a physical exam of your teeth. At that time, they will share with you their analysis, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. They will explain the suggested treatment plan fully and give you the opportunity to answer any questions you might have.
All members of the Smile Experience Orthodontics team will be available to assist you with whatever you might need. Before you exit, we will make sure you understand all that your customized treatment plan entails, the estimated length of treatment, the anticipated costs of treatment and other expectations. We will review with you your orthodontic insurance benefits and your payment options and schedule your next appointment.
After Your First Visit
Our hope is that you leave our office feeling well-informed and excited about your treatment journey with Smile Experience Orthodontics! We aim to thoroughly educate patients on their dental health and the importance of orthodontic treatment and to work together as partners to achieve the outlined orthodontic goals. For some patients, treatment might begin the same day as their consultation; for others, treatment will start within 1-2 weeks; and for a few, treatment might need to be delayed until after other dental health check-ups have occurred. We will all work together to determine what is right for you to eventually achieve your best smile with Smile Experience Orthodontics!
